Syllabus of the laboratories
- Instructions – familiarization with the used measurement methods, calculation methods and processing of laboratory tasks, distribution of tasks for the entire semester (cyclical rotation of tasks for pairs of students).
- Measurement of the first laboratory task according to the schedule.
- Measurements according to the schedule, submission of the protocol from the previous measurement and calculated examples.
- Consultation – corrections, assessment of deficiencies and completion of all previous measurements, correction of all unaccepted protocols, submission of calculated examples.
- Measurements according to the schedule and submission of the protocol from the previous measurement and calculated examples.
- Written test and submission of the protocol from the previous measurement, credit.
Learning outcomes
- Professional knowledge
The graduate understands basic physical concepts and principles, including mechanics, kinematics and dynamics of a mass point, mechanics of a rigid body, hydromechanics, mechanical oscillations and waves, with an emphasis on applications in the construction industry.
- Professional skills
The student will learn to apply physical laws to solve specific problems and interpret the results of experiments. He/she will be able to work with laboratory equipment, make precise measurements and analyze data, including the interpretation of results.
- General competence
The graduate will be able to independently solve interdisciplinary tasks, effectively communicate technical information and cooperate in a team. He/she will have the ability to connect physical theories with their practical application in various fields. He/she has the ability for lifelong learning and adaptation to new technological and scientific knowledge.
