General aspects of design methods of concrete and masonry structures. Design of structures using specific methods with respect to the non-linear properties of structures as composite setting. Probabilistic approach to designing. The effects of imposed deformations. Modelling of time-dependent phenomena. Modern methods of design of selected concrete and masonry structures - foundations, special building and engineering structures. Optimisation of design of concrete and masonry structures. Influence and importance of details of designed structure on complete technical solution.
