Here you can start! Applications for Faculty of Civil Engineering are open.

This month, applications for most study programmes at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Brno University of Technology for the academic year 2025/2026 have officially opened.

This year, 3,633 future civil engineers are studying at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Brno University of Technology, and we already know that this will not be nearly enough for the Czech labour market. 98% of our graduates have a job within three months of graduation. The demand for quality construction professionals is permanent and long-term.

The Civil Engineering programme is taught in English at both the Bachelor's and Master's levels. In the doctoral programme, it is possible to choose from 6 specialised fields of study.

Modern civil engineering studies are varied and offer excellent opportunities with the prospect of a long-term and meaningful career. Construction professionals shape the world around us, having a direct impact on people's quality of life, their comfort, safety, and even their mood.

In our faculty, you'll not only encounter brick, wood, and concrete (although you'll certainly encounter them as well), but more importantly, you'll learn how to design and build quality and innovative structures. You will gain knowledge about the principles of sustainable construction, the use of modern technologies including virtual reality and 3D modelling, robots and automation, the possibilities of recycling materials, energy savings or the optimal setting of the indoor environment. If you're interested in a higher perspective on construction, you can focus on transport construction, urban planning, construction management or blue-green infrastructure.

We look forward to seeing you!
