Syllabus

  • Repetition: exterior orientation parameters and interior orientation parameters.
  • Factors influencing image coordinates, the geometric accuracy of reconstruction.
  • A digital orthophoto, digital image processing, and analysis.
  • Digital image correlation, interest points (key points) detection, correspondence analysis.
  • Introduction to remote sensing, definition, history, meaning.
  • Physical basics of remote sensing.
  • Influence of atmosphere on remote sensing measurements.
  • Spectral properties of objects, vegetation indices.
  • Image sensors and their usage in remote sensing.
  • Image processing of remote sensing data.

Exercise

13 weeks, 2 hours/week, compulsory

Syllabus

  • Surveying and calculating coordinates of control points and check points, planning of image capturing.
  • Camera calibration, and image capturing.
  • Image orientation and creation of 3D point cloud and mesh model.
  • Accuracy testing, publication, and presentation of results, finalization.
  • Digital image processing.
  • Essential work with remote sensing data.
    Unsupervised classification, and supervised classification.
