The course is intended for real beginners. Grammar: conjugation of verbs in the present tense, accusative singular, and gender of nouns, adjectives and pronouns. Vocabulary: family, jobs, food and drink, telling the time and date,numbers 0 - 1000

Learning outcomes

Students will learn some basic vocabulary and grammar. The course is intended for real beginners.They will be able to talk about these topics in a simple way: family, jobs, food and drink, telling the time and date,numbers 0 - 1000. They will also learn to conjugate verbs in the present tense, to use the accusative singular, and gender of nouns, adjectives and pronouns.

Planned educational activities and teaching methods

Grammar and vocabulary is practised in an interactive way, with emphasis on conversation. Development of communication and listening skills using interactive audio-visual technologies,LMS Moodle and Smartboard.

Forms and criteria of assessment

In order to receive credits for the course, students have to attend classes regularly, actively participate in lessons, and pass both a mid-term and a final test.

Objective

Mastering the rules of pronunciation, basic vocabulary to the extent of 400 words and simple grammar features.
Target level according to CEFR is A1.
