Construction work quality control and building diagnostics

Basic knowledge of the control of construction works and diagnostics - in particular, the control of the buildings in terms of the conformity of the project with the project documentation, the checking of the geometrical accuracy, the deviations of the dimensions, the surface curvature, the thicknesses of the coatings, etc. Overview of the control and diagnostic methods for determining properties of materials and constructions, steel reinforced concrete constructions, steel constructions, timber constructions.

  • 1. Introduction, EU and Czech legislation, accreditation system of the Czech Republic and the EU, MD's regulations.
  • 2. Quality assurance of test results, interpretation and evaluation of results.
  • 3. Control plan development, testing and technological regulations for selected construction processes.
  • 4. Technical inspections - introduction and principles, one-off and continuous technical inspections.
  • 5. Technical inspections - compliance with the technological process (project) of individual construction works.
  • 6. Technical inspections - construction works carried out, construction defects and construction failures.
  • 7. Technical inspections - assessment of defects and failures in terms of building physics.
  • 8. Technical state inventory of constructions.
