Grammar: Gerunds and infinitives, past modals, verbs of the senses, passive voice, reporting verbs, clause of contrast and purpose, articles, uncountable and plural nouns, quantifiers.
Vocabulary: music and emotions, body parts, media, towns and cities, accommodation, my future house, science, studying abroad.

Entry Knowledge

Intermediate knowledge of English, B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference.

Aims

Students will extend their language skills and vocabulary and grammar knowledge beyond the level of the Cambridge PET exam or B1 level of the CEFR (Common European Framework) established by the Council of Europe. This course follows the BYA7 course.
Students will extend their language skills and vocabulary and grammar knowledge. The target level is B1+ according to CEFR.
