Syllabus

1. Relationship between lectures concerning the technology and production of components and with their usage in building industry, including the suitability of their embedding to the building construction. 2. Description of the selected prefabricated object of a particular type of structural system NKS - T06B-P/1988, list of elements, project documentation, construction details, technology process. 3. Regeneration of prefabricated buildings, especially taking into account the requirements of the ETICS systems. 4. Description of selected specific type of skeleton reinforced concrete building, list of elements, project documentation, construction details, technology process. 5. A systematic review of the current range of prefabricated building elements, an example of the calculation of all types of loading. 6. Types of prefabricated cladding. 7. Legislation on the marketing of products, the certification process, the control tests of the prefabricated building elements and reinforcement steel, the quality and dimensional accuracy of prefabricated elements, variations and tolerances in construction. 8. Types of prestressing reinforcement (hydraulic systems, electric heating), welding and labeling of reinforcement. 9. Excursion to selected building. 10. Presentation of prepared student’s reports for chosen building process. 11. Design and heat-insulating proposal for wood cladding systems according to the applicable standard regulations. 12. Technology of production of glued elements, types of adhesives for glued timber elements, verification of bonded joints for wood frame buildings. 13. Durability tests of glued elements (experiment) – resistance to delamination process of gluelines according to EN 391, the use of software for wood-frame building structures design.
