Modeling and Visualization of 3D Models

Academic Year 2023/24

VUC004 course is part of 2 study plans

Elective Courses Summer Semester

Elective Courses Winter Semester

Creating 3D models of real objects. Basic techniques for modeling solids and surfaces. Materials, lights and complex visualization of the model.

Course Guarantor

Institute

Objective

Creation of three-dimensional model of any type (free model). Understanding the standard modeling techniques when working with solids and modeling with using NURBS curves and surfaces. Creation of materials based on their physical (optical properties) and based on the map (texture). Fundamentals of model views and lighting. Photorealistic images of the model and simple animation. Teaching is done in either AutoCAD or in Rhinoceros.

Knowledge

Creation of three-dimensional model of any type (free model) and visualization.
