Atmosphere, its charectiristics. Weather, climate and climate factors. Observation and measurement of basic effects. Time series in climatology, reduction of series,interpolation missing data. Processing of data. Weather forecast, synoptic map analysis, satellite meteorological systems. Mezoclimate, topoclimate and kryptoclimate. Influence of atmosphere on constructions. Climate maps and atlases.

Objective

Improvement knowledge of meteorological and climatological effects, which can influence measuremets.

Knowledge

Students will manage theoretical basics of weather and climate studies. They will achieve an overview about influence of atmospheric phenomenon and actions on human society activities and about historical and future changes of atmospheric features, contingent on natural and anthropogenic factors.
