Ph.D. combi. program nDK > VHS compulsory-elective Winter Semester 2nd year 8 credits

Ph.D. full-t. program nDA > VHS compulsory-elective Winter Semester 2nd year 8 credits

Ph.D. combi. program nDKA > VHS compulsory-elective Winter Semester 2nd year 8 credits

Natural stream channel evolution, response of natural stream to interferences. Generation, properties and transport of sediments. Effect of sediment transport to channel bed roughness. Deformation of particular parts of open channels and train rivers by water flow. Revitalization of water course is one of the possible ways to remediate improper training done in the past. It is also proper remediation after ecological accident, natural disaster, etc. Revitalized channel of a stream should fit the natural condition as muchas possible. This the main difference between complex river traning ang revitalization.

Objective

Evaluation of stability of open channels as ecological spine of landscape. Physical bases, theoretical bases and empirical calculation formulas.
Information about revitalization of rivers and dams (reservoirs), work a project of river revitalization (or dam reservoir revitalization).

Specification of controlled instruction, the form of instruction, and the form of compensation of the absences

Vymezení kontrolované výuky a způsob jejího provádění stanoví každoročně aktualizovaná vyhláška garanta předmětu.
