The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of the road design, their impact on traffic safety and environmental impact.

Objective

The point of subject is acquaintance students about traffic impact to environment. Their solution include valid legal regulations and technical standards.

Syllabus

1.–3. Introduction, literature background research.
4.–10. Seminars on a given subject.
11.–13. Processing of seminar papers on a given subject.

Prerequisites

Complete highway route design, computation of highway geometry, knowledge of used road materials and typical pavement constructions. Basic principes of traffic safety. Enviromental impact assesment.
