The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of the road design, their impact on traffic safety and environmental impact.

Prerequisites

Complete highway route design, computation of highway geometry, knowledge of used road materials and typical pavement constructions. Basic principes of traffic safety. Enviromental impact assesment.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Forms and criteria of assessment

For credit classification is required to prepare a semestral work on a selected topic.

Objective

The point of subject is acquaintance students about traffic impact to environment. Their solution include valid legal regulations and technical standards.
