Objective
Doctoral studies in the field of Geodesy and Cartography are focused on scientific preparation, methodology of scientific work and on the development of knowledge in the field of theory of geodetic and cartographic sciences and related sciences, based on the current state of scientific knowledge, research and development, on mastering their applications and on developing the abilities for independent creative activity of students of this study program. Scientific training in this field is based on mastering the initial theoretical disciplines of the natural science base and theoretical and scientific disciplines of the relevant focus.
Knowledge
Graduates of doctoral studies are prepared for employment in development and research activities in the area of the relevant specialization of the field as well as for solving demanding, non-traditional and complex geodetic and cartographic problems. Graduates also find employment as academic staff of universities.
