Construction law with respect to public law and private law, overview of public construction law, introduction to private construction law, types of construction contracts, rights in rem, rights in rem in things of others, Land Registry .
Water management, the Water Act, purpose, basic terms, water disposal, water conservation, flood control, water courses, underground water, permits, approvals, fees, governmental administration.
Implementing regulations to acts.

Basic knowledge of water management policy, ownership relations with the regard to EU legislative.

Syllabus

1. Introduction to the topic, sources of law, relation between public and private law.
2. Public construction law, Building Act and its implementing regulations.
3. Private construction law, types of construction contracts.
4. Rights in rem - possession, ownership, co-ownership.
5. Rights in rem - right of superficies, easements.
6. Land Registry.
7. Conception of water management policy of the Czech Ministry of Agriculture.
8. 1998/83/ES and 2000/60/ES directives of the European Parliament and Council.
9. Water act, purpose, basic terminology, water management.
10. The condition of surface and ground water, water planning.
11. Protection of water conditions and water sources, accidents, flood prevention and flood authorities.
12. Water courses, water works, fees.
13. Act on water supply and sewage systems.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of water management legislative and regulations related to building law.
