From Monday, 5 October 2026, the FCE BUT Library will return to its regular opening hours, Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Due to the ongoing renovation of Building A, however, it will continue to operate with some restrictions.

Visitors can use the newly equipped Red Study Room, all book and textbook study rooms on the upper floor, part of the Blue Study Room, and the cloakroom with lockers. Printers, scanners and computers with specialist software are available, while the full range of lending services for textbooks, books and journals has also resumed.

Over the summer, all libraries at Brno University of Technology migrated to a new library management system. The change should have little impact on users. Should you need any assistance, our lending services team - Kateřina Kopecká, Eva Kyjovská and Michal Peloušek - will be happy to help.

We are working hard to reopen the remaining areas and will keep you updated.
