Wooden building competition: prizes for CZK 220,000 and a wooden notebook

The content is archived. Information may be outdated or misleading.

Dear students,

The largest student competition focused on wood building is here! Submit your design for a wooden building or structure and win prizes worth 220 000,- CZK!

There are no limits to your imagination. You can submit a design for a house, a school, a lookout tower, a footbridge, etc. Entry is completely online and you can also enter with your school projects (e.g. term papers, bachelor's or master's theses).

If you enter by May 31, you will receive a gift. A wooden notebook! An elegant and very practical A5 ring-bound wooden notebook that manages to be very durable but also extremely portable. It was donated to the competition by Martin Šupka under his brand Wood Style. The notebook will be handed over to you personally at the award ceremony on Thursday 14 September 2023 in Prague, or sent to you by post.

Luck favours the prepared. So don't forget to read the competition rules in the competition conditions.

But you should know that you have to submit your design by midnight on July 7 at the latest.

The competition entries will be judged by a panel of experts and the general public. The best designs using OSB from Kronospan or CLT and LVL from Stora Enso will also be rewarded. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will also choose its winner. In total, we will award 7 competition entries!

Follow our news on Facebook or join the event to stay in the loop.

We look forward to hearing your ideas!

If you have any questions, please contact Pavla Panáčková of the Wood for Life Foundation at p.panackova@drevoprozivot.cz.
