In the week from 16 to 21 October 2022, an international transport workshop for students will take place at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the BUT in cooperation with the universities of Hildesheim, Münster and Utrecht. The workshop will focus on the design of a traffic solution for Brno's Veveri Street from Konečný Square towards the city center.

The students will work in international groups, experience the work of traffic engineers from the preparation of traffic surveys, through working with traffic data to the design of construction and traffic engineering and the subsequent presentation of their own proposals. During the whole time they will have the opportunity to consult with experts not only from our faculty but also from the mentioned universities.

The program will be complemented by transport-oriented excursions and a visit to Villa Tugendhat. There are 7 places available for FCE BUT students to participate in the workshop. Interest in transport issues and basic knowledge of Autocad and English language are required. It is an advantage to have completed at least a basic course in designing transport structures at PKO.
