Lecture by a foreign guest at the Institute of Geotechnics

Please accept our invitation to a lecture by a leading expert in the field of geotechnics and engineering geology on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in lecture room A321 from 12 noon to 2 pm.
The guest speaker will be Associate Professor Corrado FIDELIBUS, who works in the field of geotechnical engineering at the Department of Engineering for Innovation, UniSalento. With his extensive experience, he contributes to teaching at several universities, including Politecnico di Torino and Tashkent Polytechnic University in Turin.
He has been awarded by the Italian Geotechnical Association (AGI) for the best dissertation and has served as a visiting scientist and Senior Research Assistant at prestigious institutions such as Golder Associates Inc. (USA), the University of Adelaide (Australia), and ETH Zürich (Switzerland).
His scientific interests focus on computational geomechanics and hydrology of disturbed rocks. He is the author of numerous publications and a member of the editorial boards of the leading journals Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering and Engineering Geology.
