Syllabus
- 1. Urban design, urban planning, legislation and urban typology.
- 2. Functional, operational and spatial structure of urban settlement department, city plan, municipalities, regulatory elements, buffer zones.
- 3. Public spaces, transport and technical facilities and infrastructure.Types of buildings according to the purpose of their use. Basic types of structures and coordinating of their dimensions.
- 4. Structural systems of buildings. External influences on the design.
- 5. Excavations and foundation construction. Vertical load-bearing structure including exterior walls of the building. The spatial bracing construction.
- 6. Horizontal structures. Types of floor structures. Overhanging and receding structures.
- 7. Structural systems for roofing structures. Non-bearing structures, doors and windows, floors.
- 8. Constructions for different height level – stairs, ramps.
- 9. Flat roofs and chimneys.
Exercise
13 weeks, 2 hours/week, compulsory
Syllabus
- 1.–2. Draft of cellared building construction.
- 3.–4. Structural studies of the building 1:100.
- 5. Sections and Elevations of building.
- 6. Contour lines plan and local topography for the building. Location of the building in the terrain.
- 7. The foundation structure.
- 8. Proposal of landscaping. Technical report.
- 9. Completion and granting credit.
