Principles of organization and management of urban transport (road transport, public, pedestrian and bicycle traffic and static).

1. Historical development of urban transport and urban roads, means of transport
2. Urban roads, classification and design elements of these roads.
3. Design elements of roads I. - design speed, directional routing
4. Design elements of roads II. - height guidance of the route, length of viewpoints for stopping
5. Design elements of roads III. - width layout of urban roads
6. Design elements of intersections
7. City intersections, level and elevated, simple, directed and controlled intersections.
8. Design parameters of pedestrian crossings and crossing points
9. Modification of buildings for people with reduced mobility
10. Road structures, tunnels, bridges, walls.
11. Individual motor transport.
12. Static transport - parking and parking of vehicles, garages.
13. Current topic.

Prerequisites

PC work, excellent knowledge of at least one of the CAD software and a software for the design of roads

Exercise

Syllabus

The output of the course will be: - Design of traffic solution of the city street - situation. - Longitudinal profile of the specified street. - Example cross section of local road. - Elaboration of situational solution of city intersection.
