The subject extends the knowledge gained at secondary school.
Aims
The objective of the course is to make the students familiar with the legal order of the Czech Republic focusing on the Building Act and its implementing regulations.
After completing the course students will be familiar with the Building Law.

Syllabus
- 1. Introduction to the course, basic legal concepts. Legal regulation in the Czech Republic. European law.
- 2. Town and country planning and its instruments.
- 3. Planning permission proceedings, types of planning permissions.
- 4. Building code, building permit and notification, building permit proceedings. Authorized inspector.
- 5. Structure realization. Utilization and removal of structures. Energy intensity of buildings.
- 6. Selected activities in construction. Authorization according to the Law. No. 360/1992 Coll., on practice of profession of authorized architects and authorized engineers and technicians working in the field of building constructions.
- 7. Administrative offenses. Expropriation.
- 8. Law No. 254/2001 Coll., on Water and Amendments to Some Acts (The Water Act)
- 9. Law No. 274/2001 Coll., on Water Mains and Sewer Systems for Public Use and Amendments to Some Acts (The Water Mains and Sewer Systems Act)
- 10. Waste economy. Waste management.
- 11. Air protection. Protection of agricultural land resources.
- 12. Basic employment relations, requisites of employment contract.
- 13. Trade companies, their basic characteristics, status of partners. Trade business.
