Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject is focused on encyclopedic cross-sectional acquaintance with the newest building materials used in practice with regard to the design of modern enviromentally beneficial buildings. Mainly the design of packaging in terms of meeting the current requirements of thermal insulation, sound technical and visual properties.

1. Progressive fired masonry for environmentally friendly buildings.
2. Progressive façade and paving ceramic tiles for environmentally friendly buildings.
3. Aspects of application of ceramic tiles in zarchitectonic and technical terms.
4. Heat insulating materials for low energy and passive buildings
5. Environmentally-friendly insulation materials from secondary raw materials and natural thermal insulation, insulation systems of building structures
6. Acoustic-insulating materials for environmentally friendly construction
7. Waterproofing materials for environmentally friendly construction
8. Architectural visual concrete, special concrete with photocatalytic effect
9. Ultra lightweight constructional concrete with a bulk density of 800 to 1200 kg / m3
10. FRP composite materials for application to environmentally exposed environments, materials with higher resistance to high temperature
11. Façade elements based on cement matrix fiber composites
12. Elements of light building materials
13. Plastics for construction products
