The course deals with the completion of a documentation of residential, civil or industrial objects - a newly designed building or a building reconstruction. The project is completed as a professional documentation for the planning permission. In this project the emphasis is layed on the layout space arrangement in a accordance with assessment of stability of load bearing structures, fire safety of the building, noise protection and energy saving demands. Drawings are completed in CAD programmes.
The course content is processing of project documentation of the building. Student will learn with the process plotting building structures, a way of dimensioning and markings of construction materials. Part of the task will be drafting a coordinating situation and of the technical report. Part of the task will be drafting a coordinating situation and of the technical report.
Theme is a residential building, free standing ranked under urban area of the village, for example, an apartment block with the three floors and with the partial basement for technical installations and facilities (the heating, storage boxes, garage...). Building roof as either roof timbers by using of the attics or flat roof with a receding storey. The building land in slope, appropriate for the partial basement object. The altimetry contour line, with the existing objects and with utility networks for connection of building.

Objective
The purpose of the subject is preparing for individual work and instruction to application of obtained information in separated study branches for achievement of practical output as a integrated design in the middle-sized range.
Knowledge
Ability to complete the design of smaller simple buildings - disposition, structural preliminary design, architectural concept and graphical presentation in accordance with valid design standards.
Prerequisites
Students shall have completed courses of Civil Engineering, depending on the study program. Orientation in legislation and mandatory part of EN, ISO - for individual disciplines (Typology, Statics, Components of Concrete structures, Components of metal structures, Structural Mechanics, , Building Physics, fire safety, Building materials, Geodesy.
