Syllabus

  1. Introduction, legislation (law on water, water supply and sewerage).
  2. Drinking water in buildings, indoor installation - requirements, calculation.
  3. Waste water in buildings - requirements, objects, calculation.
  4. Rainwater - requirements, objects, calculation.
  5. Gray waters - requirements, objects, calculation.
  6. Technical solution and overview of rainwater management equipment.
  7. Rainwater retention.
  8. Soaking of rainwater.
  9. Excursion.
  10. Methods of wastewater treatment, root and domestic wastewater treatment plants.
  11. Examples of completed constructions.

Exercise

13 weeks, 3 hours/week, compulsory

Syllabus

  1. Project assignment “Wastewater reuse in a family house”. Provision of input documents.
  2. Calculation of water needs, assessment of drinking water quality.
  3. Calculation of wastewater quantity, assessment of water quality.
  4. Calculation of rainwater, determination of the volume of the storage tank.
  5. Pollution of rainwater, maintenance of the system.
  6. Economic analysis of the design of the rainwater system.
  7. Calculation of the infiltration device, maintenance of the building.
  8. Assessment of centralized and decentralized solutions for wastewater disposal.
  9. Economic balance of centralized and decentralized solutions.
  10. Preparation of the cadastral situational drawing. Completion of the final report.
  11. Credit.
