Thermal engineering, basics of heating, especially heat technical calculations, the design principle piping network - hydraulics, basics of building acoustics.
Aims
Professional Knowledge
The student understands the principles of indoor environmental conditions, the properties and treatment of humid air, and the basic principles of natural and mechanical ventilation, air-conditioning, cooling and heat recovery. The student understands the basic principles of noise control in ventilation systems.
Professional Skills
The student is able to design and assess basic ventilation and air-conditioning systems for residential and non-residential buildings with regard to thermal and moisture loads, energy efficiency and acoustics.
Professional Competence
The student is able to apply professional knowledge in the design and assessment of ventilation and air-conditioning systems and select appropriate solutions considering indoor environmental requirements.

- 5. Parts of airconditionining systems for air treatment and air transport.
- 6. Machinery room.
- 7. Air systems in airconditioning and their design.
- 8. Water and refrigeration systems in airconditioning and their design.
- 9. Cooling for air-conditioning.
- 10. Heat recovery systems.
- 11. Noise in HVAC systems and their attenuation, suggestion damping elements.
- 12. Control of HVAC equipment, HVAC systems applications in industry.
- 13. Application HVAC systems in civil building and in industry.
