The aim of the subject is to extend and practise theoretical knowledge and practical design proficiency that is obtained earlier in subjects “Sewerage” and “Wastewater treatment”. In the frame of the comprehensive project is solved urban runoff drainage and safe treatment of all types of wastewater in the real catchment area. Students propose a project documentation of sewerage network and wastewater treatment plant. Drawing documentation includes technical report and detailed hydrotechnic and technologic calculations. Students use computers and current software.

Aims
The basic conception solution and design of drainage urban areas and treatment of waste-water from urban areas.
Prerequisites
Hydraulics, Hydrology, Engineering nets, Sewerage Systems, Chemistry and Water Technology, Treatment of waste water
Specification of controlled instruction, the form of instruction, and the form of compensation of the absences
Extent and forms are specified by guarantor’s regulation updated for every academic year.

Syllabus
1. Project assignment, drawing of work teams
2. Design of the concept of sewerage and wastewater disposal, description of the location and equipment of the family house, location of the house, accompanying report, situation of wider relations, characteristic flows in sewerage connections
3. Technical parameters of sewer connections, dimension design, accompanying report, sample cross-sections of sewerage connections, summary technical report
4. Fabric loading of WWTPs, summary technical report, sample drawing of sewerage shaft
5. Design of volumes of WWTP facilities, design of domestic WWTP, cadastral situation drawing, longitudinal profile of sewer connections, summary technical report
6. Balance of discharged pollution, floor plan and section of domestic WWTP, summary technical report
7. Technological scheme of WWTP, mixing equations, summary technical report
8. Coordination drawing, summary technical report
9. Outlet object (connection to sewerage, infiltration object), attachments for the document part
10. Completion of the project, filling in applications
11. Project defense, credit
