How to reach me

The Czech Republic (being a part of the European Union) is located in the central part of Europe, surrounded by Germany (from the west), Poland (from the north), Slovak Republic (from the east) and Austria (from the south). The nearest airports with frequent internatinal flights are located in Prague and Vienna.
Brno is the second largest city of the Czech Republic; located in Southern Moravia (south-west from the capital Prague). There is a goog connection between Prague (Vienna) and Brno by trains and buses.
Faculty of Civil Engineering is a part of Brno University of Technology and is located in the central part of Brno. Take tram 12 or 13 from the main railway station and get of on stop "Konecneho namesti" (4^th stop, then walk one block in the direction of travel or take tram 11 or 3 and go 1 stop). You can also take a taxi from the railway station (2 km).
The Institute of Structural Mechanics is a part of Faculty of Civil Engineering (alternative link). Dr. Vorechovsky’s office is in the 4^th floor of building C, room C433.
