Syllabus

1. Principles of structural design of elements and members of composite structures, combination of materials. 2.–3. Basic design principles, loading actions, material, rheological properties. 4.–5. Ultimate limit states – design conception for basic cases (tension, compression, bending, shear) and their combinations. 6.–7. Shear connections. 8.–9. Serviceability limit states – design conception. 10. Fatigue. 11.–12. Fire resistance of composite structures. 13. Application of composite structures in civil engineering constructions.
