    Town Lednice is located 55 kms far away from Brno, 85 kms from Vienna (Austria), 250 kms from Prague and 90 kms from Bratislava (Slovakia).


  • BY PLANE

    We recommend you to choose Brno International Airport or Vienna International Airport. Flights from/to Brno Airport:
      Brno - London / Stansted and Luton (Great Britain)
      Brno - Milano / Bergamo (Italy)
      Brno - Moscow / Vnukovo (Russia)
      Brno - Roma / Fiumicino (Italy)
      Brno - Eindhoven (Netherlands)
    Other suitable airports: Vienna [A] (85 km), Bratislava [SK] (90 km), Prague (250 km). There is good train and bus connection between Lednice-Vienna, Lednice-Bratislava as well as Lednice-Prague.

  • BY TRAIN

    You can find train connection by yourself on Czech Railways web page, see: České dráhy (Czech Railways) or you can use other relevant web page e.g. DB Bahn. Reservation for trains are not necessary (except high-quality trains). We recommend you to get off in Břeclav station (optionally Podivín station - applicable just for regional trains).
  • BY BUS

    Company Student Angency offers comfortable and quick bus connection Prague Airport-Brno, Vienna Airport-Brno and Bratislava-Brno. Timatables and on-line booking: Student Agency. Bus will take you to the downtown just 100 meters far away from Brno railway station.

    There are also other bus companies, e.g. Tourbus or Eurolines on mentioned directions.

    Reservation for bus lines is recommended.


  • BY CAR

    Brno has highway connection with Prague (direction Germany), Bratislava (direction Slovakia, Hungary), Ostrava (direction Poland) and Vienna (direction Austria). Use Exit Podivín (highway D2). See attached map.

  • LOCAL TRANSPORT BŘECLAV-LEDNICE

    There is frequent public transport between Břeclav and Lednice. You can search connection on the web page of South Moravian Integrated Public Transport: SMIPT.

    Bus stop Lednice, náměstí is located very close to the Zámecký hotel Lednice. Instructions how to use regional transport from Břeclav to Lednice:
      1. Buy 2-zones ticket. The price is 20 CZK (around 0,90 EUR).
      2. Take bus no. 570 from Břeclav Station to Lednice náměstí. The journey takes 18 minutes. See the timetable with departures from Břeclav Bus Station: Bus no. 570.

    Optionally you can go by bus no. 555 (in the case you get off at Podivín station).
