Credit requirements

  • max. of 2 absences is accepted,

  • students are expected to hand in all of subparts of projects (eventually assigments) in time (the schedule of practice is labeled as correction),
  • suitable arrangement of static calculation and drawings (see below) must be handed in,
  • all calculations or assigments must be finished till the 13th week of the semestr.


    Earning credit

  • credit can be obtained in the last week of the semestr only,
  • one or two alternative terms usually are usually offered to obtain credit (see News in link Home).


    Arrangement of static calculation

  • static calculations must be written in pencil on one side A4 sheets only,
  • pages must be numbered,
  • legible writing is required, figures must be clear, large enough and with suitable comments,
  • static calculation starts with general relationships, followed by substitutions and results with units come in the end,

  • completed static calculation with drawings must be inserted into flapped paper folder and provided with front page and index.


    Arrangement of drawings

  • formats A4 and A3 are recommended,
  • drawings can be made by hand or by help of PC (AutoCAD, etc. can be used),

  • drawing must be included title (top left), descriptioin field (bottom right), material specification and codes (above the description filed), eventually legend,

  • titles as longitudinal section, plan, elevetion, section, detail, schema, etc. must be provided with scale, for example Scale 1:10.
